Arctic Villa Aava is available for bookings from September 2026. The villa is currently being renovated, and we will open our doors to guests when the quality is ready — not before.

Pricing
Nightly rates vary by season. Winter peak season offers the best snow conditions and northern lights, while spring, summer and autumn bring Lapland’s bright nights and autumn colours — both equally rewarding, in different ways.
Peak season (Christmas, ski holidays, Easter): 3,500–4,500 € / week
Winter (other winter periods): 2,800–3,500 € / week
Spring, summer and autumn colours: 1,800–2,500 € / week
Quiet season (October–November): 1,500–1,800 € / week
Linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Minimum stay 3 nights in regular season, 7 nights in peak season.

The Aava experience can extend to food and adventure, too. We’re happy to help with restaurant reservations at the area’s best spots, and we can arrange a guided northern lights excursion, a wellness treatment at a local spa, or transport straight from Ivalo Airport to your door. Ask us when booking, and we’ll figure out together what suits you best.
Practical Information
The villa is best suited for 6–8 guests, but the total capacity is larger. Let us know the size of your group when you book and we will work out the best arrangement together. Bed linen, towels and end cleaning are included in the price. Firewood is also provided.
Booking Terms
Booking deposit — A deposit of 20% of the total price is charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Minimum stay — Peak season 7 nights. Standard season 3 nights. For shorter stays please enquire by email.
Cancellation policy — standard season — Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival — deposit refunded. Cancellation 30–60 days before arrival — deposit retained. Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival — 50% of the total price charged.
Cancellation policy — peak season (Christmas, New Year, ski holiday weeks, Easter, autumn colour season) — The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Cancellation less than 60 days before arrival — 100% of the total price charged.

When is the villa available? — Arctic Villa Aava opens its doors to guests in September 2026. Enquiries and bookings can be made by email already now.
How many guests can the villa accommodate? — The villa is best suited for 6–8 guests, but the total capacity is larger — each bedroom can comfortably sleep a couple plus additional children, and the villa can accommodate up to 10–12 guests in total. Let us know the composition of your group when you book and we will work out the best arrangement together.
What is the minimum stay? — Peak season 7 nights. Standard season 3 nights. For shorter stays please enquire by email.
What is included in the price? — Bed linen, towels and end cleaning are included. Firewood for the fireplace is also provided.
How do I get there? — The nearest airport is in Ivalo, approximately 25 kilometres away. The villa is accessible by car — private parking is available on site. The centre of Saariselkä is within walking distance.
Is there wifi? — The villa does not have a separate wifi connection. Saariselkä has excellent 5G coverage, so internet access is available via your own phone or mobile router.
Is the villa suitable for families with children? — Yes — a travel cot and high chair are available for the youngest guests.
Are pets allowed? — Pets are not permitted at the villa.
