A kelo log cabin with room to breathe

Arctic Villa Aava is built from kelo wood and the spirit of Lapland — spacious, warm and genuinely northern. The villa is best suited for 6–8 guests: a family, a group of friends, or three couples looking to share something rare.
Aava is being renewed — with care

The kitchen, sauna and bathroom are being rebuilt from scratch. Materials have been chosen thoughtfully — natural stone, wood and muted tones that sit alongside the kelo log as if they always belonged there. The original spirit remains. The quality rises.
Doors open in autumn 2026.
Living & Atmosphere

The heart of the villa is a spacious living area where kelo wood, stone and fire meet. The fireplace brings warmth and light — exactly what you need after a long day outdoors. Large windows open onto Lapland landscapes, and the terrace invites you to sit quietly under the stars.
Sleeping

The villa has three separate bedrooms and a private loft for two. Each space has its own peace — room to retreat, sleep well and wake at your own pace.
Location & Surroundings

Villa Aava is located on the southern slopes of Kaunispää fell — a peaceful yet central setting. The services of Saariselkä are within walking distance, yet from here the world feels pleasantly far away.
The top of Kaunispää can be reached on foot, on skis or by chairlift — offering views across the fell landscape in every direction. In winter, Finland’s longest toboggan run is nearby. In summer, the sun never sets, nature trails invite exploration and a swimming spot offers a surprising encounter with Lapland’s pure waters.

Ivalo and Inari are a short drive away — culture, Sámi heritage and additional services await.
